How to start playing free — Azeron Legion 7.3.5

Create an account

A login, a forum nickname, an email and a password. One account covers the game, your account page and the forum.

Download the launcher

Install the Azeron launcher — it downloads the World of Warcraft: Legion 7.3.5 client itself, verifies the files and keeps them up to date. You pick the game folder inside the launcher; the path must not contain Cyrillic, for example D:\Games\Legion.

Check the realmlist

The launcher sets the server address before every start, so there is nothing to do by hand. If you install the client without the launcher — open WTF\Config.wtf in Notepad and add the line SET portal "legion.azeron.org".legion.azeron.org".

Log in and play

Hit “Play” in the launcher. At the login screen enter the same login and password you use on the site, pick the realm — and off you go.

Common problems

Check the SET portal line in WTF\Config.wtf and make sure you launch Wow.exe from the client folder. Turn off your VPN.

The login is entered without “@” and without the email, case does not matter. You can change the password in your account.

Update your graphics driver, set DirectX 11 in the graphics settings, and add the client folder to your antivirus exclusions.

Check the free space (about 60 GB is needed) and unpack with the latest version of 7-Zip or WinRAR.

Login: Latin letters, digits and “_”, case does not matter. The nickname may be in Russian — it is shown on the forum, while the login is never shown to anyone.
