Date and build: 4 October 2026, 7.3.5.26365
Below is everything that went live with the restarts on 2–4 October since the previous post: the weekly reset on Wednesdays, Legion invasions, Outland quests and events, Outland dungeons, Suramar, Stormheim and other Broken Isles zones, plus launcher 1.7.4 and updates to the website and forum.
At the end there is a separate list of things that are already live but not yet checked in the game.
Launcher 1.7.4
- The launcher updates itself the next time you start it.
- The Telegram button has been removed.
- Settings now have "Check" and "Full check" for the game files. Check progress is shown on the main screen, you can cancel it, and the check is noticeably faster.
- The friends list has been tidied up.
- The fortune wheel addon is now called AzeronFortune (formerly uFortune). The launcher moves it for you, nothing needs to be done.
- The banner at the top now says "A beta test is running".
Website and forum
- The website's home page has a new video, and the site header is now dark.
- New forum section "Streams". The pinned thread has the terms for streamers (AZ Coins every week for streaming on Azeron, a personal referral link and promo code) and takes applications. You can also announce your streams there.
- A thread about addons is pinned in "General discussion": what works and what doesn't. Share your own addons and report problems there.
For everyone
- The weekly reset now happens on Wednesdays: raids and dungeons with weekly lockouts, weekly quests, the weekly currency cap, Mythic Keystones and the weekly chest. The first Wednesday reset is on 7 October.
- Mythic Keystones: a keystone loses 1 level as soon as the run starts. Finish in time and it goes up 1–3 levels from the original level and changes dungeon; finish over time and it is 1 level lower for a different dungeon; an abandoned run leaves the keystone 1 level lower.
- Legion invasions: level 110 characters now get access to invasion quests. Points appear on the map in the zone under attack, and after four quests the commander encounter and the final scenario open up.
- Creatures whose only loot is a quest item can be looted again.
- Channeled spells are no longer interrupted when the game turns your character to face the target.
- Control over a creature through a channeled spell no longer breaks after a few seconds.
- When you control a creature and see through its eyes, you see everyone it can see. Enemies attack that creature instead of your motionless body.
- Freshly spawned gathering objects can be looted right away, no more waiting a few seconds.
- About 50 quest and combat spells no longer get blocked by walls and models in line-of-sight checks, where that is intended.
- Ambient lines: NPCs no longer say the same line in chorus and on a loop, and about 140 creatures no longer repeat a line twice. If you notice this again, please post examples in bug reports.
- More than 60 creatures that should only appear during quests and events no longer stand in the world permanently; helper invisible creatures have been removed too.
- Objective markers on the map have been added for 28 quests. A few quest objectives no longer complete on their own when you accept the quest — you need to do them again.
- In the English client, Russian text has been replaced with English in more than 500 quests.
- Removed quests that were offered by mistake (from beta versions or obsolete): Bleeding Hollow Supplies, Revered Among Honor Hold, The Blood Furnace, Dominion Over Acherus, Company of the Damned, the follow-ups of Entry Into the Citadel about the Shattered Halls key, King Forgalash's Burden, Pixie Dust in the Dreamgrove, two extra Inside the Winter Storm quests at Vethir, and a placeholder quest at Absolon. If such a quest is still in your log, just abandon it.
Outland: Blade's Edge Mountains
- "The Smallest Creatures": poisoning the kegs works on the first try, and while controlling the marmot you can see the camp's ogres and worgs.
- "A Boaring Time for Grulloc": Grulloc goes after Huffer right after the squeal; a second Huffer does not appear while the first one is running around.
- "Gather the Orbs" and "Trapping the Light Fantastic": the totem and the light trap pull in the Razaani light orbs, and each orb counts. "Trapping the Light Fantastic" no longer completes as soon as you accept it.
- "Gauging the Resonant Frequency": the scanners work — stand inside five fields at once.
- "Banish the Demons": the banishing crystal works in the Legion camps Wrath and Terror, and demons are credited one at a time to the portal's owner.
- "An Apexis Relic": a mistake in the mini-game takes 25% health instead of killing you outright; the crystals can be clicked again.
- "Stasis Chambers of Bash'ir" and "The Mark of the Nexus-King": Thuk the Defiant comes out of the chamber with the evidence, and the chamber closes on its own after 5 minutes; the stasis chamber prisoners are hostile again and have loot.
- "Prisoner of the Bladespire": Leokk sits in his cage, and Spirit's Whistle works right from the ground next to the spike.
- Dertrok's Wand Case: a turned dredger ogre follows you and fights on your side.
Outland: Netherstorm
- "Bloodgem Crystals": using the shard is no longer interrupted right away.
- "It's a Fel Reaver, But with Heart": the fel reaver can be looted again for its heart.
- "Teleport This!": control over the mo'arg lasts up to a minute and can be cancelled with the cross on the bar.
- "Ethereum Secrets": the prisoner inside a prison is not visible until it opens, and friendly prisoners are no longer killed right after release.
Outland: Shadowmoon Valley
- "Besieged!": Infernal Attackers fall from the sky as meteors; the pre-placed infernals are gone. Extra helper creatures have been removed too — "A Grunt's Work..." counts the regular beasts of the valley.
- "To Legion Hold": the disguise always turns you into a crate.
- "Battle of the Crimson Watch" works again: Illidan, four waves and Torloth the Magnificent. "The Journal of Val'zareq: Portends of War" only starts from the item, and A'dal no longer offers these quests.
- "Spectrecles": the Shadowmoon zealots are only visible with the goggles.
- "Enraged Spirits of Fire and Earth": the spirit totem stays where you put it.
- "Divination: Gorefiend's Armor": Vhel'kur circles over the island. "Divination: Gorefiend's Truncheon": the four Ghostriders of Karabor ride in a column. "Teron Gorefiend, I am...": Karsius fights Teron, not your body.
- Path of Conquest: the Eclipsion force and the Sons of Corok are back — 71 creatures.
- "A Necessary Distraction": the scroll removes Azaloth's banishment.
- "The Ashtongue Corruptors": the corruptors are invulnerable while their totems are alive; Uylaru stands in his place with his fire totems.
- "The Summoning Chamber": the ritual over the pool works, the Oversoul appears in the pool and only one at a time.
- "The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance": the Horde safe opens with the key.
- "I Was A Lot Of Things...": a freshly dug tuber can be picked up right away.
- "Kindness": the Netherwing drakes circle over the fields and fly off after eating, so they don't block the next carcass.
- "What Illidan Wants, Illidan Gets...": there are no extra guards next to Overlord Ruusk any more.
- Coilskar Cistern: the cave is populated again, and Earthmender Wilda is held in her water prison — the rescue scene and the "Escape from Coilskar Cistern" escort work.
Outland: Hellfire Peninsula
- "Fel Spirits": a Fel Spirit appears at the relic, and the extra spirits at Gor'gaz Outpost are gone. "The Exorcism of Colonel Jules" opens after both "Fel Spirits" and "Digging for Prayer Beads".
- "The Seer's Relic": the vision is shown at Sedai's corpse.
- No more "chests" floating above the braziers at Hellfire Citadel and above similar fires.
Outland dungeons
- Shadow Labyrinth: Ambassador Hellmaw walks the hall and patrols after the ritual; the voidwalkers give Grandmaster Vorpil his stacks; The Lexicon Demonica and The Book of Fel Names drop for everyone on the quest.
- Hellfire Ramparts: Gargolmar's Hand always drops, including on Heroic; Nazan's Head drops from Nazan.
- The Blood Furnace: "Heart of Rage" now counts for the Alliance too.
- The Shattered Halls: the Tear of the Earthmother from O'mrogg and the amulet for "Fel Embers" drop for everyone on the quest.
- The Steamvault: the vial for "Underworld Loam" drops for everyone on the quest; the overseers shout at the slaves now and then instead of nonstop.
- The Arcatraz: after each prisoner dies, Warden Mellichar releases the next one — the event no longer stops after the first wave.
Suramar
- "Or Against Us": Arluin has the missing dialogue line.
- The Arcway: the decorative spiders in Nal'tira's hall stay under the ceiling and no longer wander on the floor.
- "Parts Unknown": the skull counts.
- "A Message From Ly'leth" and "One Day at a Time": the arcan'dor fruit only works on a refugee.
- "Survey the City" no longer completes as soon as you accept it.
- "Fate of the Guard": map markers added, and the quest is listed under Suramar.
- "Waiting for Revenge": the hippogryph is summoned and the objective counts.
- Absolon: "Cling to Hope" and the follow-up are turned in to Noressa on the Promenade, as the quests say.
- "Survival of the Fittest" and "Shard of Vorgos": the description shows the number again instead of a code.
- Jandvik: the duplicate Toryl by the fire has been removed.
- "Dispensing Compassion": each citizen counts once, and the quest can be turned in after 4/4.
- Shal'Aran: First Arcanist Thalyssra no longer disappears in the middle of the Insurrection chapters, the crystal for "A Message From Our Enemies" is visible, and Valtrois is visible to everyone with "Mouths to Feed".
- "Disillusioned Defector": Silgryn and Victoria are visible to those who did the chapters out of order too.
- "Into The Pit!": Angus walks with you and finds the helm. "One Small Step for Magic" and "The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fel": Kirtos now has his ritual.
Stormheim, Azsuna, Val'sharah, Highmountain
- Stormheim: after "Above the Winter Moonlight", the Alliance now gets "Heart of a Dragon" and the rest of the chain; there is only one Vethir on Thorim's Peak.
- "Built to Scale" starts from the storm drake scale; the drakes no longer add copies of the quest to your log, and the extra copies are gone.
- "Ahead of the Game": the objective counts at the Felskorn camp.
- "An Unworthy Task": opening Colborn's cage counts the objective.
- Azsuna, the Senegos chain: Stellagosa is visible after "The Last of the Last", and "Runas the Shamed" can be taken from her right away.
- "Moon Reaver": your companion follows you down into the cave where Keeper Remulos is held.
- "Regroup": the gondola sails on the surface instead of deck-deep in the water.
- "No Reason to Stay": the extra objective has been removed, and Eneas's family counts.
- "Entangled Dreams": the order of Koda Steelclaw's chain is fixed, and the quest no longer gets lost.
- World quests: "WANTED: Captain Volo'ren" and "WANTED: Nameless King" count; in "Lords of the Hills" the right prince stands in the camp; in "Primal Payback" Enforcer Narissa gives you the form; there is now only one Sekhan.
Argus, the Broken Shore, class halls, Orgrimmar
- "Nath'raxas Hold: Preparations", "Relics of the Ancient Eredar" and "Take the Edge Off": the requirement for champions with item level 900, 925 and 950 now counts.
- Champion armor sets raise both armor and weapon level — up to 850.
- The Vindicaar: removed the doubled objects that caused texture flickering.
- Commander Chambers no longer offers the "Tomb of Sargeras: …" quests himself — they start from items brought by the class hall quest and are turned in to him.
- The Broken Shore: Than'otalion no longer stands in the Soul Ruin; he is still summoned with the portal stone.
- The shaman campaign quests "A Taste For Blood" and "Return to Janai" are given to shamans only; in Deepholm, Gorsik the Tumultuous and Ma'haat the Indomitable stand in their proper places.
- Orgrimmar: only one Warchief's Command Board remains in the Valley of Strength; the mage trainers in the Cleft of Shadow no longer climb onto the tent frame.
Live, checking in game
- "Wisp in the Willows": the wisp's ability counts the grown trees.
- Firelands: Beth'tilac starts the fight on her web; the bridge to Majordomo is built by the Magma Orb. Blackwing Descent: the moving floor in Nefarian's chamber.
- Shadow Labyrinth: the cultist scene in Murmur's hall. The Arcatraz: Millhouse Manastorm fights alongside you, and Mellichar's shield disappears when he dies.
- "Fire At Will!": the fel imp always dies when it explodes, and imps from the gate run at the cannon.
- "Planting the Banner": the ogres climb up to the banner, and their level scales to yours.
- "The Fel and the Furious": the fel reaver has its missile barrage against the infernals, and the neighbouring fel reavers can no longer be hit.
- "Skywing": the escort has been rebuilt from scratch and ends with a fight against Luanga the Imprisoner.
- "Zuluhed the Whacked": the event with his lines, the guards on the walls and Arcubus Destroyer; Zuluhed's Key always drops.
- "The Cipher of Damnation - Borak's Charge": Ruul the Darkener has his route again, and the Cipher fragment always drops.
- Suramar: characters and the beacon in two story chapters are visible to those who play them out of order; "Unbeleyvable" now has its scenario with Valtrois and Stellagosa.
- "Havi's Test": the root vegetables no longer count as soon as you accept the quest.
- "The Light of Dawn": the Defenders of the Light hit their own opponent with their chain lightning, and the damage to the far targets of the chain has been halved.
- "Boon of the Nether Disruptor": the boon window opens.
If something does not work the way it is described, please post in bug reports — ideally with a screenshot and your character's name.
